Regional Sales Manager Mid-Market

As a Regional Sales Manager at Vena you will be responsible for selling Vena’s innovative Budgeting, Forecasting and Finance software and related services into a defined territory in Canada and the US. You will work closely with potential and existing clients to build and maintain trusting and consultative relationships. 

You are a passionate individual with a strong sales and technical background who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric, entrepreneurial environment. You are highly motivated, results-oriented and have a proven track record of exceeding targets.

What you will do

  • Create a high volume of prospecting activity using a variety of methods and technologies to lead to closed deals
  • Track daily activity and sales progress in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with the Vena team throughout the sales cycle including Business Development, Marketing, Solution Engineering and Implementation
  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets consistently
  • Complete accurate and timely sales reports

Does this sound like you?

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field 
  • 2 years+ of full cycle technical sales experience including management of accounts from qualification to close
  • Experience building a business or new territory
  • Experience selling enterprise software such as Finance, Accounting, CPM, ERP, or BI solutions 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships with senior management and C-suite stakeholders 
  • ‘Hunter’ mentality with an innovative, entrepreneurial spirit and willing to do what it takes to be successful
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously and familiarity working in a remote location
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to clearly understand and address complex client requirements
  • Able to work independently and autonomously
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Finance practices and processes would be an asset
